Cleanups
Events Calendar
ILACSD hosts cleanup events that are open to the public throughout the year. Visit the events calendar to view our upcoming volunteer opportunities. Cleanups are typically Saturday mornings, however, ILACSD offers independent volunteer opportunities as well. Swipe left or click here to learn more!
Adopt A Beach or Canyon
Volunteers are also welcome to schedule their own independent cleanups at a location of their choice through the Adopt-A-Beach or Canyon program. The Think Blue Storm Drain Stenciling program is another independent volunteer opportunity. Please contact Carly Keen for more information at ckeen@cleansd.org or call 619-704-2774.
Volunteer Site Captains
Our reach and impact would not be possible without our dedicated Site Captains. If you have noticed the need for a cleanup in your neighborhood or favorite recreational area, become a site captain and take action! ILACSD will provide you with the training to be successful in activating your community and hosting an impactful cleanup. Contact Lauren Short at lshort@cleansd.org or call 619-704-2772 to get involved.
Clean Committee
Are you looking to get involved beyond a single cleanup event? Join the Clean Committee and contribute your skills to help further ILACSD’s mission! We’re currently looking for volunteers who are skilled in graphic design, flying drones, or community organizing. Get more details here and find out how to put your skills to use for a cleaner San Diego.
Storm Drain Stenciling
I Love A Clean San Diego’s partnership with Think Blue, the City of San Diego’s Storm Water Pollution Prevention Division, works to educate the public about storm drain pollution. To learn more about the program, click here.
To reserve your supplies, please call ILACSD’s Community Program Coordinator, Carly Keen, at 619.704.2774. Please call at least one week prior to your ideal stenciling day.
